We're seeking a passionate Social Studies educator to join our Upper School faculty at Fort Bend Christian Academy for the 2025-26 academic year. The ideal candidate will create engaging learning environments that foster critical, historical thinking and deep conceptual understanding. Courses may include but are not limited to World History, US History or Social Studies Electives.

 

What Makes You an Ideal Candidate:

• A demonstrated ability to teach high school social studies
• Experience creating problem-solving, rich classroom environments
• A passion for making social studies accessible and engaging for all learners
• Bachelor's degree in History, Social Science, Political Science or related field required; Master's degree preferred
• Experience teaching high school social studies is preferred, and AP teaching experience will be considered a bonus
• Strong interpersonal skills with a proven track record of professional, timely communication with students and parents
• A service-oriented mindset focused on supporting student success
