We're seeking a passionate English educator to join our Upper School faculty at Fort Bend Christian Academy for the 2025-26 academic year. The ideal candidate will create engaging learning environments that foster critical thinking and deep conceptual understanding. Courses may include but are not limited to On Level or Honors English at one or more grade levels.
What Makes You an Ideal Candidate:
- Experience creating dynamic literature and writing-focused classroom environments
- A passion for developing students' writing, analytical, and communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in English, literature, humanities, journalism or related field required; Master's degree preferred
- Experience teaching high school English is preferred, and AP teaching experience will be considered a bonus
- Strong interpersonal skills with a proven track record of professional, timely communication with students and parents
- A service-oriented mindset focused on supporting student success
- Coaching experience or the willingness to coach a sport will be considered a bonus
