We're seeking a passionate Life Sciences educator to join our Upper School faculty at Fort Bend Christian Academy for the 2025-26 academic year. The ideal candidate will create engaging learning environments that foster critical thinking and deep conceptual understanding. Courses may include but are not limited to Honors Anatomy & Physiology and AP Biology.
What Makes You an Ideal Candidate:
- A demonstrated ability to teach high school science
- Experience creating rich classroom environments
- A passion for making upper level science accessible and engaging for all learners
- Bachelor's degree in biology, zoology, kinesiology or related field required; Master's degree preferred
- Experience teaching high school or college science is preferred, and AP teaching experience will be considered a bonus
- Strong interpersonal skills with a proven track record of professional, timely communication with students and parents
- A service-oriented mindset focused on supporting student success
- Coaching experience or the willingness to coach a sport will be considered a bonus
